When discovering data, Kertos might find Software and other items that might not be relevant to your compliance pursuits. For this reason, you have the option to archive data. This is also what you do when an active item has become irrelevant, like a data source that is not anymore being used.

Moving items to the archive means that they are not deleted, but will not re-appear after running a discovery again. If you delete an item, it will again show up in your discovered tab if it is re-discovered.

You can archive items of every data type that is available in the discovery.

Moving something to the archive

  1. You can archive items from the discovered or active tab.

  2. Select the desired item (in this case, a vendor).

  3. Click “Archive Selected”.

  1. Go to the Archive

  1. Select the desired item.

  2. Click “Restore”.
