Integrating Personio with Kertos helps automate user onboarding and updates, ensuring a streamlined approach to managing user profiles for compliance and privacy operations.

 

To connect Personio to Kertos, you’ll need API credentials, specifically a Client ID and Client Secret, from your Personio account

Requirements & additional Information

 

You need to have administrator access in Personio or are able to obtain the necessary credentials from someone with these permissions.

 

Step-by-Step Setup

 

Step 1: Create API Credentials in Personio

1. Log into your Personio account.

2. Go to Settings in the bottom left.

3. In Settings, locate Integrations and then open API credentials.

 

 

4. Select Create custom integration to generate the integration credentials.

 

 

5. Choose a name for this integration and select "Other" as the integration type.

6. Under Readable employee attributes, select the fields you want Kertos to sync. Currently the following attributes are supported:

  • Email
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Department
  • Position
  • Status (such as active or inactive)

 

7. Once you’ve selected the necessary fields, Personio will display your Client ID and Client Secret. Store these securely, as you’ll need them to connect with Kertos.

 

 

Step 2: Connect Personio to Kertos

1. Open the Integrations section on the Kertos platform.

2. Choose Human Resource Integrations and select Personio.

3. Enter your Client ID and Client Secret when prompted.

 

 

4. Follow the prompts to finalize the connection.
