If you're experiencing issues while using Kertos, or if you'd like to suggest a new feature, this article will guide you through the process of contacting support or reporting a bug using our integrated tool.

How to Report Bugs or Suggest Features

Kertos uses Marker.io as a built-in tool for collecting bug reports and feature suggestions. This makes it fast and easy to send us feedback right from the platform.

Whenever you encounter a bug or have an idea for improvement, press the Give feedback button located in the top-right corner of the screen (look for the icon that looks like a bug).

When you press this button:

  • A screenshot of your current screen will be automatically attached.
  • You can draw or highlight specific areas directly on the screenshot using the tool panel at the top.
  • On the right-hand panel, make sure to set the Issue type correctly:
    • Keep it as Bug if you’re reporting an error.
    • Switch it to Story if you’re suggesting a feature or asking a general question.
  • Fill in the mandatory Summary field with a clear title.
  • Use the Description field to provide helpful details. Please follow this format:
    • Steps to reproduce: What actions did you take before the bug occurred?
    • Actual result: What happened that seems wrong?
    • Expected result: What should have happened instead?

You can leave the other fields at their default values.

Once you click Create work item, your report will be reviewed by our team as soon as possible. You’ll receive email updates about the issue:

  • We might provide a response or ask for additional info.
  • You may also receive an automatic notification once the issue is resolved.

Yes. You’ll receive email notifications when we answer to your question, need more information, or when the issue has been resolved.
